No proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results required for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers are not required to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test result before traveling to Venezuela.
Proof of vaccination is required for Venezuela
Fully vaccinated travelers must attach valid proof of COVID-19 vaccination to Biosecurity Travel Pass before departure to Venezuela. The last vaccine dose of the primary vaccination schedule must be received at least 14 days before arrival in Venezuela.
If more than 270 days have passed since the last dose, travelers will be required to have a booster dose.
Mandatory travel pass
All travelers are required to apply for Biosecurity Travel Pass through the BioCheck system before departure to Venezuela.
Vaccinated travelers must upload a valid proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
Unvaccinated travelers must upload a negative COVID-19 test result a maximum of 72 hours before departure to Venezuela.
On Arrival
Mandatory COVID-19 testing on arrival
All travelers are required to take a COVID-19 PCR test on arrival at their own expense. Travelers must sign-up in advance through the website CasaLab, and register their incoming flight details in order to obtain a QR code. This QR code (hardcopy or digital) will be requested by the airline upon check-in and by local sanitary authorities on arrival for the test to be administered. Travelers who test COVID-19 positive on arrival will receive guidance from local health authorities with respect to quarantine and sanitary assistance.
This requirement does not apply to:
- Travelers under the age of 5.
No quarantine required
Travelers arriving with a valid negative COVID-19 PCR test result taken 48 hours before arrival are not required to quarantine on arrival in Venezuela.
While There
Masks are mandatory in public
Travelers are required to wear masks at all times, including when traveling via land in private vehicles.
This requirement does not apply to:
- Travelers under the age of 2.
