Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results
Travelers must show proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test result taken from 24 hours to a maximum of 72 hours before departure to Vanuatu. Alternatively, travelers are required to show proof of a negative COVID-19 supervised certified rapid antigen test result taken a maximum of 24 hours before departure to Vanuatu.
The evidence of a negative COVID-19 test result can be shown in printed hard copy or displayed on a smart device (smartphone).
This requirement does not apply to:
- Travelers under the age of 2;
- Travelers who recovered from COVID-19. They need to show proof of a positive COVID-19 RAT or PCR test result at least 8 days and not more than 2 months before departure to Vanuatu.
- A Pcr Test Up To 72 hours
- A Rapid Test (Professionally performed) Up To 24 hours Before Arrival
- An Antigen Test Up To 24 hours Before Arrival
No proof of vaccination required for Vanuatu
Travelers are not required to present proof of vaccination to enter Vanuatu.

Travelers are recommended to have a valid COVID-19 travel insurance package.
On Arrival
No quarantine required
Travelers are not required to quarantine on arrival in Vanuatu.
While There
Masks are mandatory in some settings
All travelers aged 12 years and over are required to wear masks during the flight to Vanuatu and inside the airport arrival terminal.
This mask requirement doesn’t apply to the following travelers:
- Travelers under the age of 12;
- Travelers with a valid medical certificate issued by a medical practitioner.
