Travelers who are arriving from other United States territories and United States states can enter United States Virgin Islands.
Transit is allowed
Travelers who are arriving from US states or other territories can transit through United States Virgin Islands.
Before You Leave
Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results or recovery certificate is not required
Travelers don’t need negative COVID-19 results or recovery certificates before traveling to United States.
The CDC still recommends travelers get tested for current infection with a COVID-19 viral test maximum of 3 days before departure. Travelers are recommended not to travel if they are sick.
Mandatory travel attestation form
Travelers who are not United States citizens, nationals, permanent residents or an immigrant (“Covered Individuals”); must complete a travel attestation form before arrival. This form will be provided by the airline.
Airlines may allow travelers to complete their attestation electronically during check-in or via partner apps such as VeriFLY. In this case, it is not necessary to print the form, but travelers may do so as a precaution.
This requirement doesn’t apply to the following travelers:
- Travelers under the age of 2.
On Arrival
Quarantine is not required
Travelers arriving from selected countries don’t need to quarantine on arrival in United States Virgin Islands.
Health screening may be required on arrival
All travelers with a travel history in Uganda in the 21 days before arrival in United States will be routed to one of the following designated airports: New York (JFK), Newark (EWR), Atlanta (ATL), Chicago (ORD), or Washington (IAD) for enhanced screening.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will apply new layers of screening at these 5 United States airports in response to the Ebola outbreak in Uganda.

Travelers are recommended to wear masks on public transport.
This mask recommendation doesn’t apply to the following travelers:
