Mandatory proof of COVID-19 vaccination for Uruguay

Fully vaccinated travelers must have a COVID-19 vaccination certificate. The certificate must show that the travelers have received 1 dose or 2, depending on the type of vaccine. Travelers must show that the last dose of vaccination is completed at least 14 days before arrival in Uruguay.

More Details

This vaccination requirement doesn’t apply to the following travelers:

  • Uruguayan citizens and residents;
  • Travelers under 6 years of age;
  • Travelers who recovered from COVID-19 no more than 90 days before travel. They must have proof of a positive COVID-19 antigen or RT-PCR test result from a test taken at least 10 days before arrival.
