Entry is restricted for international travelers
Travelers cannot enter Ukraine. All flights are suspended until further notice. However, travelers can enter Ukraine by land. Border checkpoints with Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, and Moldova are open.
Before You Leave
Proof of pre-departure COVID-19 test is not required for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers don’t need a COVID-19 test before traveling to Ukraine.
Mandatory proof of COVID-19 vaccination for Ukraine
Vaccinated travelers must have completed a full course of vaccination against COVID-19 with vaccines approved by the WHO. The vaccination schedule will be valid for a maximum of 270 days from the last vaccination dose. Travelers unable to present a valid certificate may be required to comply with rules for unvaccinated travelers.
This vaccination requirement doesn’t apply to the following travelers:
- Travelers under the age of 12.
Mandatory health insurance
Travelers must have valid health insurance to cover medical expenses, including coverage for COVID-19 treatment in Ukraine.

Quarantine is not required for vaccinated travelers
Travelers arriving with valid vaccination certificates don’t need to quarantine on arrival in Ukraine.

Travelers must wear masks in public transportation and indoor public places.
