Travelers are allowed to enter Uganda. Please check quarantine and/or testing requirements before traveling.
Transit is allowed for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers are allowed to transit through Uganda. Transit travelers are required to have proof of full COVID-19 vaccination (it is strongly recommended to have a paper copy of the vaccination certificate).

Fully vaccinated travelers are not required to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test result before traveling to Uganda.
Mandatory proof of vaccination for Uganda
Fully vaccinated travelers are required to present a valid COVID-19 vaccination certificate before arrival in Uganda.
Travelers are strongly recommended to have a paper copy of their vaccinations.
This requirement does not apply to:
- Travelers 5 years and under.
On Arrival
Health screening on arrival
Travelers are required to undergo screening or temperature checks upon their entry.
Symptomatic travelers may be required to take a COVID-19 test on their entry.
No quarantine required
Travelers are not required to quarantine on arrival.
