Travel is allowed with restrictions for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers are allowed to enter Turks and Caicos. Please check the documentation, quarantine, and/or testing requirements before traveling.
Travelers who are medically unable to take a vaccine must upload proof of this to the TCI Assured Portal.
Entry restrictions do not apply to:
- Travelers under the age of 18.
Transit is allowed
Travelers are allowed to transit through Providenciales International Airport (PLS).
Travelers in transit must exit customs and immigration in order to board a connecting flight, and they must have all the required documentation to enter the country.

No proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test result required
Travelers are not required to have a negative COVID-19 test result before traveling to Turks and Caicos.
Mandatory proof of vaccination for Turks and Caicos
Fully vaccinated travelers are required to present a vaccination certificate. The certificate must show that 14 days have passed after the second dose of a 2-dose vaccine, or that 14 days have passed after the receiving of a single dose vaccine.
Proof of vaccination can be presented in one of the following forms:
- E-certificate/digital certificate;
- Certification issued by a doctor or government entity;
- Vaccination cards/certificates accepted by national authorities;
- A vaccination letter signed by a medical professional (physician or registered nurse with license number);
- Printed form from an electronic vaccination database.
Approved vaccines are Moderna (mRNA-1273) - Spikevax, Pfizer/BioNTech (BNT162b2) - Comirnaty, Janssen/Johnson & Johnson (Ad26.COV2.S), AstraZeneca (AZD1222) - Vaxzevria, Covishield (AstraZeneca), Novavax (NVX-CoV2373) (includes COVOVAX), Covaxin, Sinopharm Vero Cells (BBiBP-CorV), Sinovac CoronaVac.
This requirement does not apply to:
- Travelers under the age of 18;
- Travelers in transit;
- Travelers who are not able to take a COVID-19 vaccine due to medical reasons. However, written and signed proof from a medical professional clearly stating that they are medically exempted from taking the vaccine must be submitted to the online TCI Assured Portal. The reason must be clearly stated and will be reviewed by the Turks and Caicos Ministry of Health. If an exemption is granted to the traveler, note that these travelers will still be required to provide a negative COVID-19 test.
