Border Status
Travel is allowed with restrictions for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers are allowed to enter Saint Kitts and Nevis. Please check the documentation, quarantine and/or testing requirements before traveling.
Entry restrictions do not apply to:
- Citizens and residents of Saint Kitts and Nevis;
- Unvaccinated children under age 18 traveling with fully vaccinated parents.
Transit is allowed for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers are allowed to transit through Saint Kitts and Nevis as long as they do not leave the international airport area.

Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results
All travelers, regardless of the vaccination status and travelers in transit, are required to have a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR, NAAT or Rapid Antigen tests nasopharyngeal test result. A COVID-19 RT-PCR or NAAT test must be taken at an approved lab a maximum of 3 days before arrival and a COVID-19 Rapid antigen test must be taken at an approved lab a maximum of 1 day before arrival to Saint Kitts and Nevis. Self-samples or home tests will not be considered valid.
- A RT PCR Test Up To 3 days Before Arrival
- A Nucleic Acid Test Up To 3 days Before Arrival
- An Antigen Test Up To 1 day Before Arrival
- A Rapid Test (Professionally performed) Up To 1 day Before Arrival
Mandatory proof of vaccination for Saint Kitts and Nevis
Fully vaccinated travelers are required to have received all doses required of the Pfizer/BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca Oxford/Covishield, Sinopharm, Sinovac-CoronaVac, Bharat Biotech-Covaxin, Abdala, Soberana 2, Soberana Plus, Medigen, Sputnik V or Johnson and Johnson vaccine at least 14 days before travel.
Travelers that have received a combination of two different vaccines may still be considered fully vaccinated. Please check the link for more information on accepted vaccine combinations.
The United Kingdom’s proof of COVID-19 vaccination record will also be accepted.
This requirement does not apply to:
- Travelers under the age of 18.
Mandatory travel authorization form
Travelers are required to complete the Online Immigration/Customs/Health form where they must also upload their proof of vaccination and test results. The KNA forms must be submitted before departure and must be presented on paper.
On Arrival
COVID-19 test may be required on arrival
Travelers who show COVID-19 symptoms during the health screening on arrival will be required to take a COVID-19 test on-site at the airport at the traveler’s expense.
Travelers may be tested on arrival if the pre-departure test is outdated or not acceptable.
Mandatory stay at an approved accommodation and testing
All travelers are required to book a Travel Approved accommodation for the duration of their stay.
Fully vaccinated travelers aged 12 and older staying at a Travel Approved accommodation are not required to quarantine or test on arrival at their accommodation. This also applies to unvaccinated travelers under the age of 12 accompanying fully vaccinated parents or guardians. These travelers can participate in public activities on arrival.
Unvaccinated travelers between the ages of 12-17 who are accompanying fully vaccinated parents or guardians are required to take an RT-PCR test at their Travel Approved accommodation within 24 hours of arrival. Parents and guardians must “Vacation in Place” (quarantine) with their accompanying children until receipt of negative RT-PCR test results.
Travelers may stay at an approved private home or condo by submitting a request to info@stkittstourism.kn.
Different requirements apply to:
- Unvaccinated nationals and residents must quarantine for 7 days at home and take a COVID-19 test on the last day of quarantine to be released.

Health screening on arrival
All travelers are required to undergo a health screening at the airport which includes a temperature check and a health questionnaire.

Masks are mandatory in public
Travelers are required to wear masks in all public places.
Travelers should wear a mask when social distancing is not possible.
Masks are required to be worn at the airport and on public transportation.
This requirement does not apply to
- Travelers under the age of 6.
