Travelers are allowed to enter Sri Lanka. Please check the documentation, quarantine, and/or testing requirements before traveling.
Transit is allowed
Travelers in international transit are allowed as long as they do not leave the international airport area, and the connecting flight is a maximum of 10 hours of arrival.

No proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers are not required to present proof of a negative pre-departure COVID-19 test result before traveling to Sri Lanka.
Mandatory proof of vaccination for Sri Lanka
Fully vaccinated travelers who have received the recommended doses of the COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days before departure must carry the original vaccination certificate or verifiable evidence of vaccination. If the certificate is not in English, then a certified English translation of the certificate must be carried out as well.
Any vaccination type accepted by the country of origin is acceptable.
Travelers between the ages of 12-18 who have received at least one dose of a Pfizer vaccine a minimum of 2 weeks before arriving in Sri Lanka will be considered fully vaccinated.
Travelers who have valid documentation of recovery from COVID-19 in the past 6 months and have received one dose of a vaccine at least 14 days before departure will be considered fully vaccinated. The vaccination certificate should indicate that the vaccination course has been completed following the administration of one dose.

On Arrival
No quarantine required
Travelers are not required to quarantine on arrival. Travelers are still recommended to use “Safe and Secure” certified accommodations and travel agents.

Travelers don’t need to wear masks in indoor or outdoor public places.
