Travelers are allowed to enter Spain. Please check the documentation, quarantine, and/or testing requirements before traveling.
Exiting Morocco: Moroccan residents require proof of vaccination to exit the country
Moroccan residents traveling out of Morocco are required to present valid proof of full vaccination before exiting the country. A booster dose is compulsory if the second dose of the vaccine (or single dose for the J&J vaccine) is more than 4 months old.
Residents who test positive for COVID-19 can only be given a booster dose 4 weeks after the date of infection. These residents can leave Morocco with their old vaccine certificate presented with a certificate of recovery or negative COVID-19 PCR test results. Additionally, travelers must have a COVID-19 PCR or rapid antigen test result confirming the infection.
Moroccan residents aged 12-18 years must have a vaccination certificate proving they received 2 doses of a vaccine before exiting Morocco.
This requirement does not apply to:
- Travelers under the age of 12;
- Travelers with medical exemptions.
Transit is allowed
Travelers are allowed to transit through Spain.
Travelers must transit for a maximum of 24 hours, stay in the international zone at the airport, and have their onward flight ticket.

Before You Leave
No proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test required for vaccinated travelers
Vaccinated travelers with a valid certificate are not required to have a negative COVID-19 test result before traveling to Spain.
Vaccinated travelers without EU Digital COVID Certificate or EU equivalent are required to fill in the mandatory health form before departure. Please check “Mandatory Proof of Vaccination” for more details.
This requirement does not apply to:
- Travelers under the age of 12;
Mandatory proof of vaccination for Spain
Travelers must present a certificate showing they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Travelers must have received their last dose at least 14 days before arrival in Spain and no more than 270 days before their arrival. Vaccines accepted are those approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) and by the WHO.
Travelers, aged 18 years and older with a vaccine certificate showing that their last dose was administered over 270 days before arrival, must also show a certificate proving a booster vaccination has been administered. These certificates will be considered valid since the day the booster dose was administered.
Travelers aged 12 years and older arriving in Spain from countries outside the EU or Schengen area countries are also required to present proof of vaccination in accordance with the EU COVID certificate requirements.
Travelers who are eligible for the EU Digital COVID-19 Certificate or equivalent may use it to present proof. The United Kingdom’s COVID-19 vaccination record is also accepted.
Travelers who do not have the EU Digital COVID Certificate or EU equivalent certificate from these countries Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Benin, Bahrain, Cabo Verde, Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Faroe Islands, Georgia, Israel, Iceland, Indonesia, Jordan, Kosovo, Lebanon, Liechtenstein, Madagascar, Malaysia, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Morocco, New Zealand, North Macedonia, Norway, Oman, Panama, Peru, Philippines, San Marino, Serbia, Seychelles, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Tunisia, Togo, Türkiye, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man, Uruguay, Vietnam, and Vatican City are required to complete the SPTH Health Control Form manually and enter the data of their vaccination, recovery or a negative pre-departure COVID-19 test result.
A valid recovery certificate must be issued at least 11 days after the first positive COVID-19 test result and up to a maximum of 180 days. It must have been performed by healthcare professionals.

This requirement does not apply to:
- Travelers in transit, as long as the transit lasts less than 24 hours and does not leave the international zone;
- Travelers under the age of 12;
- Travelers arriving from France by land.
Mandatory health control form for travelers without EU Digital COVID Certificate or equivalent
Travelers who do not have EU Digital COVID Certificate or EU equivalent must complete the SPTH Health Control Form before departure to Spain and present their QR code before boarding and upon arrival.
The traveler will be required to enter the data of your vaccination or recovery of infection.

This requirement does not apply to:
- Travelers under the age of 12;
- Travelers with EU Digital COVID Certificate or EU equivalent;
- Travelers arriving from France by land.
For Transit
No proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results required for transit
Travelers are not required to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test result to make a transit connection in Spain, as long as they do not leave the airport international zone.
On Arrival
No quarantine required
Travelers are not required to quarantine on arrival in Spain.

Mandatory health screening on arrival
Travelers are required to pass through health checks on arrival including temperature screening.
While There
Masks are mandatory in certain settings
Travelers must wear masks in airplanes and on public transportation.
This requirement doesn’t apply to the following travelers:
