Before You Leave
Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results for unvaccinated travelers
Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated travelers must have a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test result. The PCR test must be taken a maximum of 72 hours before departure. Alternatively, a rapid antigen test must be taken 24 hours before departure.
This requirement does not apply to:
- Travelers under the age of 12.
- A Pcr Test Up To 72 hours Before Departure
- An Antigen Test Up To 24 hours Before Arrival
Mandatory travel authorization form
All travelers, regardless of age, must submit a health travel authorization form before departure to Seychelles.
To complete the form, travelers must upload a passport copy, a selfie photo, contact information, flight and accommodation details, proof of negative COVID-19 test results, proof of COVID-19 vaccination (if applicable), proof of recovery, and proof of health insurance.
For travelers under the age of 18, the legal guardian, parent, or accompanying adult is responsible for completing their application.
Mandatory health insurance
Travelers are required to have valid travel health insurance that covers at least COVID-19 testing, isolation, quarantine, and clinical care.
This requirement does not apply to:
- Seychellois and permanent residents.
On Arrival
COVID-19 test may be required after arrival
All travelers, regardless of their vaccination status, who disembarks with fever and respiratory symptoms such as cough, runny nose, or shortness of breath will be isolated from other travelers and be subjected to further assessment and COVID-19 testing.
Mandatory stay at an approved accommodation
Travelers can stay at any health-certified tourism accommodation and they are allowed free movement as long as they follow all health protocols and public health measures.

Travelers are not required to quarantine on arrival in Seychelles.
