Travelers don’t need a COVID-19 test before traveling to Senegal.
Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results is required for unvaccinated travelers before exiting Sierra Leone
Unvaccinated travelers must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test result at a MoHS-approved laboratory. Travelers must take the test a maximum of 72 hours before departure from Sierra Leone or within the time limit stipulated by the destination country. Please check the source for the list of approved laboratories.
This testing requirement doesn’t apply to the following travelers:
- Travelers aged 12 and under;
- Travelers with valid proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
- A Pcr Test Up To 72 hours Before Departure
Mandatory travel authorization form before exiting Sierra Leone
All travelers must complete a travel authorization form before departure from Sierra Leone.
Mandatory security fee before exiting Sierra Leone
All travelers departing from Sierra Leone must pay a security fee to guarantee airport safety.
This requirement doesn’t apply to the following travelers:
- Travelers under the age of 2;
- Travelers who are in transit for a maximum of 24 hours;
- Travelers from involuntary rerouting (due to technical problems or weather conditions).
