Travelers are allowed to enter Peru. Please check the documentation, quarantine, and/or testing requirements before traveling.
Transit is allowed with restrictions
Travelers are allowed to transit through Peru. Transiting travelers staying in the airport (airside) do not need to meet the vaccination and PCR test requirements.
Transiting travelers who need to pass through immigration (layover) for any reason need to meet the entry requirements of Peru.
Travelers in transit are required to wear double face masks or a KN95 mask on flights bound for Peru.

No proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results required for vaccinated travelers
Travelers with valid proof of being fully vaccinated are not required to have a negative COVID-19 test result before traveling to Peru.
Mandatory health declaration form
Travelers must submit a health declaration form online a maximum of 72 hours before departure to Peru. Travelers must present the QR code from the online form either digitally or printed.
Mandatory proof of vaccination for Peru
Fully vaccinated travelers must have proof of vaccination demonstrating they have received all the vaccine doses required at least 14 days before travel to Peru to be exempt from the requirement to provide proof of a negative pre-departure COVID-19 test result.
Peruvians and foreign residents 18 years and older must present a vaccination certificate proving they had 3 doses of a vaccine against COVID-19.
Non-resident foreigners 18 years and older are required to present proof of vaccination according to the “vaccination scheme” of their home country.
All travelers aged 12 to 17 are required to have proof of 2 doses.

Proof of vaccination is also required for travelers to engage in domestic travel and public activity to be exempt from the requirement to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test result. More information is available on our health pass recommendation.
This requirement does not apply to:
- Travelers under the age of 12.
On Arrival
Quarantine may be required
Travelers without any COVID-19 symptoms are not required to quarantine on arrival in Peru.
Travelers with COVID-19 symptoms must undergo a health assessment and may be required to quarantine at a declared address or in Villa Panamericana or another government-designated facility for 14 days. Authorities will conduct telephonic health monitoring every 3 days. A voluntary COVID-19 test on day 6 may end the quarantine.
Mandatory health pass for domestic travel and public activity
Travelers on domestic flights, using inter-provincial land transportation, or accessing public spaces must have a valid proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 molecular test result.
To be exempt from the requirement to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test result, fully vaccinated non-residents over the age of 18 are required to have proof of 2 doses to be considered fully vaccinated.
Fully vaccinated residents of Peru over the age of 18 are required to have proof of 3 doses to be considered fully vaccinated.
All travelers aged 12 to 18 are required to have proof of 2 doses.
Travelers without valid proof of vaccination must provide a negative COVID-19 molecular test result issued a maximum of 48 hours before boarding their transportation or entering the public space.

Health screening on arrival
All travelers are subject to health screening on arrival in Peru.

Masks are mandatory in public
Masks are required in all public spaces. Travelers are required to double mask or to wear a KN95 mask.
This requirement does not apply to:
- Travelers under the age of 2.
Mandatory health declaration form for domestic travel
Travelers are required to complete an Affidavit of Health for domestic flights within Peru.
