Mandatory proof of vaccination for Peru

Description

Fully vaccinated travelers are required to have proof of vaccination demonstrating they have received all the vaccine doses required at least 14 days before travel to Peru to be exempt from the requirement to provide proof of a negative pre-departure COVID-19 test result.

Peruvians and foreign residents 18 years and older must present a vaccination certificate proving they had 3 doses of a vaccine against COVID-19.

Non-resident foreigners 18 years and older are required to present proof of vaccination according to the “vaccination scheme” of their home country.

All travelers aged 12 to 17 are required to have proof of 2 doses.

Travelers without any COVID-19 symptoms are not required to quarantine on arrival in Peru.

Travelers with COVID-19 symptoms must undergo a health assessment and may be required to quarantine at a declared address or in Villa Panamericana or another government-designated facility for 14 days. Authorities will conduct telephonic health monitoring every 3 days. A voluntary COVID-19 test on day 6 may end the quarantine.

Description

Travelers on domestic flights, using inter-provincial land transportation, or accessing public spaces must have a valid proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 molecular test result.

To be exempt from the requirement to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test result, fully vaccinated non-residents over the age of 18 are required to have proof of 2 doses to be considered fully vaccinated.

Fully vaccinated residents of Peru over the age of 18 are required to have proof of 3 doses to be considered fully vaccinated.

All travelers aged 12 to 18 are required to have proof of 2 doses.

Travelers without valid proof of vaccination must provide a negative COVID-19 molecular test result issued a maximum of 48 hours before boarding their transportation or entering the public space.
