This transit restriction doesn’t apply to the following travelers:

Before You Leave
Proof of pre-departure COVID-19 test is not required
Travelers don’t need a COVID-19 test before traveling to Palau.
Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results is required for unvaccinated travelers before exiting Burkina Faso
Unvaccinated travelers must have a negative COVID-19 PCR or rapid diagnostic test result. Travelers must take the test a maximum of 5 days before departure from Burkina Faso.
This testing requirement doesn’t apply to the following travelers:
- Travelers aged 11 years and under.
- A Pcr Test Up To 5 days Before Departure
- A Rapid Test (Professionally performed) Up To 5 days Before Departure
On Arrival
COVID-19 test may be required on arrival
Travelers with COVID-19 symptoms must take a COVID-19 test on arrival.
Quarantine may be required
Travelers don’t need to quarantine on arrival in Palau. Symptomatic travelers and travelers who tested COVID-19 positive on arrival may need to quarantine at either a government-designated facility or at home at the discretion of the Director of Public Health.
