Travelers don’t need a COVID-19 test before traveling to Palau.
Mandatory proof of COVID-19 vaccination for Palau
Fully vaccinated travelers must have proof of COVID-19 vaccination to enter Palau.
Vaccine certificates must show that a complete COVID-19 vaccination course with the final dose was administered at least 14 days before departure to Palau.
Vaccines received must be approved or authorized for emergency use by either the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or the World Health Organization (WHO). Vaccines also can be approved by the Medigen vaccine authorized by the Republic of China – Taiwan’s health authorities.
This vaccination requirement doesn’t apply to the following travelers:
- Travelers under the age of 18.
On Arrival
COVID-19 test may be required on arrival
Travelers with COVID-19 symptoms must take a COVID-19 test on arrival.
Quarantine may be required
Travelers don’t need to quarantine on arrival in Palau. Symptomatic travelers and travelers who tested COVID-19 positive on arrival may need to quarantine at either a government-designated facility or at home at the discretion of the Director of Public Health.
