No proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results required for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers who have received their last dose of vaccine at least 4 weeks ago are not required to have a negative COVID-19 PCR test result before traveling to Niger.
Mandatory pre-registration form before exiting Colombia
All travelers are required to fill out a pre-registration form before they depart from Colombia. It must be filled at least 1 hour, and a maximum of 72 hours before departure. Travelers will be required to show confirmation of registration before boarding.
This requirement does not apply to:
- Travelers under the age of 18.
Mandatory proof of vaccination for Niger
Fully vaccinated travelers are required to present valid proof of vaccination. The last dose or the single-dose vaccine must have been taken at least 4 weeks before arrival in Niger.
On Arrival
Quarantine may be required for travelers
Travelers arriving without a negative pre-departure test or proof of vaccination may be required to quarantine on arrival for 7 days.
Travelers who intend to stay in Niger for less than 7 days are required to take a COVID-19 test on arrival and self-quarantine until they receive the results of the test. If the test is negative, travelers can end the self-quarantine.
Travelers who intend to stay in Niger for more than 7 days are required to self-quarantine at their final destination (home, hotel) for 7 days. On day 7 of self-quarantine, travelers are required to take a COVID-19 antigen test at a government-agreed testing center. If the result is negative travelers can end quarantine and if the result is positive travelers will have to follow government quarantine procedures.
