Most land borders are closed for tourism purposes (Katima Mulilo, Ariamsvlei, and Noordoewer border posts and Walvis Bay Harbour are open for tourism by land and sea).

No proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers with a valid vaccination certificate are not required to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test result before arrival.
Mandatory surveillance form
Travelers are required to complete the COVID-19 surveillance form before departure to Namibia.
Mandatory proof of vaccination for Namibia
Vaccinated travelers are required to have a printed or electronic proof of vaccination, showing they received all vaccine doses required at least 14 days before travel.
Travelers are considered fully vaccinated after receiving 1 dose of a single-dose primary series vaccine if the vaccine requires a single dose vaccination or 2 doses of a 2-dose primary series vaccine if the vaccine requires a 2-dose vaccination.
This requirement does not apply to:
- Travelers under the age of 12.
