Description

Travelers who test COVID-19 negative on arrival must undergo a 5-day medical observation in Macau SAR and practice 3 days of self-health management.

During the home isolation period, individuals should visit any valid nearby eligible nucleic acid testing station for a daily test. Travelers can not leave their homes except for nucleic acid test purposes. Completion of a rapid antigen self-test (RAT) is required before leaving home for daily nucleic acid testing. Travelers must upload RAT results to the declaration platform. Until completion, on the 3rd day, of sample collection for the daily nucleic acid test, the traveler’s Macao Health Code will remain ‘red.’ It will change to ‘yellow’ once the sample collection is completed. The person’s Macao Health Code will become ‘green’ if the nucleic acid test performed on the 3rd day produces a negative result for COVID-19.

Travelers who test positive in their on-arrival COVID-19 test must undergo a 5-day medical observation from the next day after arrival. Travelers can leave the quarantine after being accessed as incapable of spreading infection.
