Description

Travelers who have been in selected countries must have a negative COVID-19 test result. The test must be a nucleic acid test issued a maximum of 48 hours before departure to Macau SAR.

Travelers infected with COVID-19 in the last 2 months are required to take 3 consecutive negative COVID-19 antigen or nucleic acid test results (each test at least 24 hours apart) at least 14 days before departure to Macau SAR.

Description

Travelers aged 12 and older must have a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing they received all doses required at least 14 days before traveling to Macau SAR.

Most vaccines need 2 doses, a few 1 or 3 in order to render initial-series protection. Travelers over 18 years old must receive a booster shot if 7 months have passed since receiving the last dose of the primary COVID-19 vaccination series.

Certificates must be issued for the purpose of international travel or recognized by the Chinese Embassies/Consulates.
