Fully vaccinated travelers are allowed to enter Iraq. Please check the documentation, quarantine, and/or testing requirements before traveling.

No proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers are not required to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test before entering Iraq.
Mandatory proof of vaccination for Iraq
Travelers must have a valid vaccination certificate showing they have had at least 2 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine. A vaccine certificate must have a QR code. Vaccines accepted are AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Covaxin, Covieshield, Covovax, Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax), Nuvaxovid (Novavax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm (BIBP), and Sinovac.
Travelers unable to present a valid certificate may be required to comply with rules for unvaccinated travelers.
This requirement does not apply to:
- Travelers under the age of 13;
- Travelers with a medical certificate of contraindication who cannot be vaccinated.
On Arrival
No quarantine required
Travelers are not required to quarantine on arrival in Iraq.
Health screening may be required on arrival
Travelers may be required to pay in cash for the test on arrival.
