Before You Leave
Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results is required for unvaccinated travelers
Unvaccinated travelers must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test result. Travelers must take the test a maximum of 24 hours before departure from the first embarkation point. The results must be in English or approved by an Iranian consulate.
This testing requirement doesn’t apply to the following travelers:
- Travelers under the age of 12;
- Travelers with valid proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
- A Pcr Test Up To 24 hours Before Departure
On Arrival
COVID-19 test may be required on arrival
Travelers must take a COVID-19 test on arrival in Iran at their own cost if they are showing symptoms.
Quarantine may be required
Travelers may need to quarantine on arrival at their own cost if they test COVID-19 positive on arrival test.
