Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results
Travelers are required to have a negative COVID-19 PCR or RT-PCR test result. The test must be taken a maximum of 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point. The results must be in English or approved by an Iranian consulate.
Departing Iranians may use a negative pre-departure COVID-19 PCR to RT-PCR test result provided they return to Iran in a maximum of 72 hours.
This requirement does not apply to:
- Travelers under the age of 12;
- Iranian nationals who have left Iran before April 4th and who have been fully vaccinated at least 14 days before arrival.

Mandatory health declaration form
Travelers must complete a self-declaration form and present it to the carrier before arrival.

Mandatory proof of vaccination for Iran
Travelers must have proof of having received a second dose in a 2-dose series vaccine at least 14 days before travel.
This requirement does not apply to:
- Iranian citizens who left Iran before 4 April 2022;
- Travelers aged 12 years and under.

COVID-19 test may be required on arrival
Travelers may be required to take a COVID-19 test on arrival in Iran if they are showing symptoms.
Quarantine may be required
Travelers may be required to quarantine on arrival if they present symptoms on arrival.
