Description

Vaccinated travelers are allowed entry into Indonesia as long as they enter through Soekarno Hatta (Banten), Juanda (East Java), Ngurah Rai (Bali), Hang Nadim and Raja Haji Fisabilillah (Riau Islands), Sam Ratulangi (North Sulawesi), Zainuddin Abdul Madjid (West Nusa Tenggara), Kualanamu ( North Sumatra), Sultan Hasanuddin, (South Sulawesi), Yogyakarta (Yogyakarta Special Region), Tanjung Benoa (Bali), Batam (Riau Islands), Tanjung Pinang, Bintan, and Tanjung Balai Karimun (Riau Islands), Nunukan (North Kalimantan), Dumai (Riau), Aruk (West Kalimantan), Entikong (West Kalimantan), Motaain (East Nusa Tenggara) and they meet one of the following requirements:

  • Obtain a visa on arrival;
  • Holders of valid visit visa (B211) or a limited stay visa;
  • Holders of a valid Business Travel Card;
  • Travelers under the Travel Corridor Arrangement (TCA);
  • Holders of valid Stay Permits (ITAS or ITAP) and Re-Entry Permits;
  • Holders of unused Visit Visa and Limited Stay Visa issued for the period 22 April – 18 July 2021 must re-check the reactivation eVisa that has been sent to the e-mail address of the foreigner and the guarantor. They must use their new eVisa no later than October 15, 2021;
  • Travelers with health or humanitarian purposes;
  • Holders of diplomatic and service visas.

Travelers can enter other Indonesia via other points of entry only if they meet specific exemptions, such as being a valid visa holder or entering via a Travel Corridor Arrangement.

Mandatory proof of vaccination for Indonesia

Description

Travelers must have proof of vaccination in the form of a vaccine card or certificate in paper or digital form showing they have received the full dose of the COVID-19 vaccine a minimum of 14 days before departure.

Foreign nationals who cannot be vaccinated due to medical conditions must show a health certificate stating the person is unfit for COVID-19 vaccination.

Indonesia accepts the UK's NHS certificate for proof of vaccination and recovery. Both digital and paper copies of the NHS may be required to be presented at different moments.

This requirement does not apply to:

  • Holders of diplomatic visas at the ministerial level on official visits;
  • Travelers under the age of 18;
  • Travelers under the Travel Corridor Arrangement scheme;
  • Travelers who have been positive for COVID-19 in the past 30 days are not required to present a COVID-19 vaccination certificate and negative COVID-19 RT-PCR results before departure. However, travelers have to take a COVID-19 RT-PCR test on arrival;
  • Travelers with a doctor's certificate or recovery certificate from COVID-19 from the Government Hospital of the country of departure or the ministry of health of the country of origin stating that the traveler is no longer actively transmitting COVID-19.
