Mandatory health insurance for travelers with a certain travel itinerary
All travelers going to a country that requires a negative COVID-19 test result on arrival must have proof of health insurance before departure from Thailand.
This insurance requirement doesn’t apply to the following travelers:
- Thailand citizens and residents.
On Arrival
COVID-19 test may be required on arrival
Travelers may require to take a random COVID-19 test at the airport on arrival.
This testing requirement doesn’t apply to the following travelers:
- Travelers under the age of 12.
Quarantine may be required
Travelers don’t need to quarantine on arrival in India. However, symptomatic travelers must immediately quarantine in a designated quarantine facility subsequently for follow-up treatment. After arrival, travelers must self-monitor their health. Travelers must report to their nearest health facility or call the national or state helpline number in case of COVID-19 symptoms.

All travelers must undergo temperature screening on arrival in India.
