Some states require either proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a COVID-19 negative test result and/or testing on arrival if entering from other Indian states. Mandatory health declaration form for vaccinated travelers

Fully vaccinated travelers are required to complete an Air Suvidha self-declaration form online a maximum of 72 hours before departure to India. Travelers must upload their COVID-19 vaccination certificate during the process. Travelers will receive an updated application document via email and are required to show this document to the immigration authority on arrival in India.

Fully vaccinated travelers from a country with approved vaccination certificates must provide a vaccination certificate issued in one of these countries to be exempt from presenting proof of a negative pre-departure COVID-19 test result. Currently, vaccination certificates are accepted from these countries:

Fully vaccinated travelers unable to present a valid vaccination certificate from a country in this list may be required to follow the requirements for unvaccinated travelers and present proof of a negative pre-departure COVID-19 test result.

Some Indian states also require either proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a current negative test result and/or testing on arrival if entering from other Indian states.

Travelers must have a valid vaccination certificate showing it has passed at least 15 days since the completion of the COVID-19 vaccination schedule.

Description

Travelers may be required to take a COVID-19 RT-PCR test at the airport at their own expense. Travelers with transit connections in India are also subject to tests on arrival.

Travelers who test negative should self-monitor for 14 days. If the test result is positive they should send a sample for genomic testing and start with treatment as per laid down standard protocol.
