Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results
Travelers must have a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test result. The test must be taken a maximum of 72 hours before arrival to avoid on arrival testing.
This requirement does not apply to:
- Travelers under the age of 12;
- Travelers with a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test result are more than 72 hours old from the date of arrival, these travelers are subject to a COVID-19 PCR or antigen test on arrival at their own cost and must quarantine until the test results are known.

On Arrival
COVID-19 testing on arrival may be required
Travelers arriving with a negative COVID-19 test result from a test taken more than 72 hours before their arrival will be required to undergo a test on arrival in Guyana. Symptomatic travelers also may be required to undergo testing upon arrival.
This requirement does not apply to:
- Travelers under the age of 2.
Quarantine may be required
Travelers exhibiting symptoms or testing positive on arrival shall comply with the Ministry of Health measures for self-quarantine and/or quarantine for a duration of 14 days. Travelers who test positive for COVID-19 on arrival are required to isolate in a government facility or, with government approval, private lodging.

Temperature screening is required for all travelers on arrival.
