Citizens are considered to be fully vaccinated if:

  • They have received a booster dose if more than 3 months have passed since their final dose;
  • They have received their final dose, and no more than 3 months have passed.

This requirement does not apply to:

  • Saudi Arabian citizens under the age of 16;
  • Children (foreigners) under the age of 12 years; however, must have a valid health insurance policy approved by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) to cover the risks of COVID-19.
  • Travelers (foreigners) whose status in Tawakkalna appears as “exempted” from the COVID-19 vaccine are to be treated equally as those whose status in Tawakkalna appears as IMMUNE.
