Border Status
Travel is allowed with restrictions for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers are allowed to enter Guam. Please check the documentation, quarantine, and/or testing requirements before traveling.
Transit is allowed
Travelers are allowed to transit through Guam.
Travelers will be asked to remain in designated areas of the airport facility while awaiting connecting flights less than 13 hours.
If awaiting time for a connecting flight exceeds more than 13 hours, travelers will quarantine at the Government of Guam Quarantine Facility until they are transported to GIAA to depart from Guam.

Before You Leave
Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results
All travelers, regardless of their vaccination status, must have an original printed or electronic negative COVID-19 viral test result (NAAT: RT-PCR, RT-LAMP, TMA, NEAR, HDA, SDA, CRISPR, or Antigen: Rapid, Viral, Antigen Chromatographic Digital Immunoassay, Antigen Chemiluminescence Immunoassay, or Antigen Lateral Flow Fluorescence).
The test must be taken a maximum of 1 day before the first scheduled departure time in the flight itinerary (e.g., if a flight is at 1 pm on a Friday, travelers could board with a COVID-19 negative test that was taken at any time on the prior Thursday).
Test results must include the traveler's full name and at least one other identifier, such as date of birth or passport number. The test must also clearly state that the results are "negative," SARS-CoV-2 RNA not detected," SARS-CoV-2 antigen not detected," or "COVID-19 not detected." A test marked "invalid" is not acceptable.
This requirement applies to all travelers, including US citizens, residents, and transit travelers.
Travelers may use a self-testing (sometimes referred to as a home test) procedure that must include a telehealth service that provides real-time supervision remotely through an audio and video connection. The test must meet the requirements of the CDC. For more details, please see the source.
Some US states might have more strict rules regarding COVID-19 test types and where they must be administered. Please carefully review the rules before traveling to each state.
This requirement does not apply to:
- Travelers under the age of 2;
- Travelers who have recovered from COVID-19. These travelers are required to present positive COVID-19 test results, taken a minimum of 10 full days (if travelers had no symptoms) and a maximum of 90 days before arrival. Travelers must also provide a letter from their healthcare provider or public health official stating they are cleared for travel.

Mandatory proof of vaccination for Guam
Fully vaccinated travelers must have a vaccination certificate showing they received an accepted vaccine. The US government currently accepts vaccines approved or authorized for emergency use by the U.S. FDA and the WHO. Vaccines accepted are Pfizer-BioNTech (e.g., COMIRNATY/tozinameran), AstraZeneca-Oxford (e.g., Covishield, Vaxzevria), Janssen (Johnson & Johnson), Moderna, Sinopharm BIBP, Covaxin, Sinovac-CoronaVac, and Novavax/Covovax.
Travelers are considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine.
Travelers unable to present a valid certificate may be required to comply with rules for unvaccinated travelers.
Mandatory electronic declaration form
All travelers are required to complete The Guam Electronic Declaration Form (Guam EDF) up to 72 hours before arrival in Guam.
On Arrival
No quarantine required
Travelers are not required to quarantine on arrival in Guam.
