Description

Most unvaccinated international travelers are not allowed to enter Guam.

More Details

Entry restrictions do not apply to:

  • US citizens, nationals, immigrants, and lawful permanent residents;
  • Travelers who are fully vaccinated;
  • Travelers under the age of 18;
  • Travelers on diplomatic or official foreign government travel;
  • Travelers with documented medical contraindications to receiving a COVID-19 vaccine;
  • Crew members of airlines;
  • Participants in certain COVID-19 vaccine trials;
  • Travelers issued a humanitarian or emergency exception;
  • Travelers with valid visas [excluding B-1 (business) or B-2 (tourism) visas] who are citizens of a foreign country with limited COVID-19 vaccine availability;
  • Members of the U.S. Armed Forces or their spouses or children (under 18 years of age);
  • Sea crew members traveling with to a C-1 and D nonimmigrant visa;
  • Travelers whose entry would be in the national interest, as determined by the Secretary of State, Secretary of Transportation, or Secretary of Homeland Security (or their designees).

Unvaccinated noncitizens and nonimmigrants qualified to enter the US due to an exemption may be subject to more strict procedures upon arrival. Please check the source for more details.

Travelers can transit through Guam.

Travelers will be asked to remain in designated areas of the airport facility while awaiting connecting flights for less than 13 hours.

If the waiting time for a connecting flight exceeds more than 13 hours, travelers will quarantine at the Government of Guam Quarantine Facility until they are transported to GIAA to depart from Guam.
