Fully vaccinated travelers don’t need a negative COVID-19 test result before traveling to Ghana.
Mandatory health declaration form
All travelers must complete a health declaration form a maximum of 3 days before traveling to Ghana.
Mandatory proof of COVID-19 vaccination for Ghana
Travelers must present proof of COVID-19 vaccination when traveling to Ghana.
Fully vaccinated travelers must have a full course of a vaccine approved and registered by Ghana, the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA), or the World Health Organization (WHO). Travelers must have received the last dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days before departure to Ghana.
Approved 2 dose vaccinations are Sputnik V, Covishield (Oxford/AstraZeneca), Pfizer BioNTech, Moderna, Vaxzevria, COVAXIN, Sinopharm, CoronaVac (Sinovac), COVOVAX, and NUVAXOVID. The approved 1 dose vaccination is Janssen (Johnson and Johnson).
Travelers must validate their vaccination certificate on the PanaBIOS trusted travel platform.
This vaccination requirement doesn’t apply to the following travelers:
- Travelers under the age of 18.

Quarantine is not required for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers don’t need to quarantine on arrival in Ghana.

All travelers must undergo temperature screening on arrival in Ghana.
