Vaccinated travelers must have received vaccines approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA). Vaccines on the WHO emergency list are also accepted for entry in Finland. Vaccine combinations are accepted by Finland. Vaccines approved are Comirnaty, Spikevax (Moderna), COVISHIELD, CoronaVac, COVAXIN, NUVAXOVID, COVOVAX, Vaxzevria (AstraZeneca), Janssen, BIBP/Sinopharm. The certificate must be in Finnish, Swedish, or English.

Travelers need to have received the last vaccination dose at least 7 days before entry. Travelers must have received all the required doses of one of the vaccines listed above to be considered fully vaccinated. A COVID-19 vaccination certificate is valid for 9 months. After that, a booster shot is required. For travelers under the age of 18 (after the primary vaccination series) and travelers who have received a booster shot, a COVID-19 vaccination certificate is valid until further notice.

Travelers who have proof of recovery from COVID-19 and who have at least one dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccine will be considered fully vaccinated. This must be presented on a single certificate.

Please check the link for more information on accepted vaccine combinations. Combinations of any of the vaccines listed in the link to reach a full vaccination series are approved.
