Border Status
Travel is allowed with restrictions for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers are allowed to enter Fiji. Please check the documentation, and/or testing requirements before traveling.
Transit is allowed with restrictions for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers are allowed to transit through Fiji. Transit travelers must have: -Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination accepted by the Fijian government; -A negative COVID-19 PCR or rapid antigen test results to enter their final destination.
Travelers who stay within the airport transit zone for up to 10 hours to connect to another flight are not required to have any COVID-19 tests.
Travelers transiting in Fiji for more than 10 hours stay at a hotel in Fiji until their next flight departure.
Travelers transiting Fiji for more than 48 hours, will need to take a pre-booked Rapid Antigen Test in Fiji.  All travelers aged 12 years and older must take a pre-booked COVID-19 RAT after 48 hours but before 72 hours after arrival in Fiji, at their hotel or nearby testing facility. For travelers who already have a fit to fly certificate from a medical practitioner, the in-country COVID-19 RAT testing does not apply.

No proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results required
Travelers are not required to have a negative COVID-19 test result before traveling to Fiji.
Mandatory health insurance
Travelers must have medical travel insurance, with international coverage that covers COVID-19 before traveling to Fiji. Travelers with existing insurance must present evidence of the cover not excluding COVID-19.
Alternatively, travelers may opt for FijiCare COVID-19 travel insurance.
This requirement does not apply to:
- Valid permit holders who provide a supporting letter from their sponsor/employer to meet all COVID-related costs, including extended quarantine if required;
- Fijian passport holders.
Mandatory COVID-19 on arrival test booking
Travelers are required to make a booking before departure to Fiji for a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) to be taken a maximum of 72 hours after arrival (the day of arrival is considered day 0).
Travelers must book their test through the link below before departure and present their booking confirmation at the airport check-in before boarding their flight to Fiji. Travelers are free to choose where to book their test as long as it is at any one of the CRMT-approved facilities. This requirement also applies to travelers transiting Fiji for more than 48 hours.

This requirement does not apply to:
- Travelers under the age of 12;
- Travelers who have been COVID-19 positive in the past 30 days before traveling to Fiji and are entering Fiji with proof of the isolation period served from a credible institution or a fit to fly certificate from a medical practitioner.
Mandatory proof of vaccination for Fiji
Fully vaccinated travelers going to Fiji must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination demonstrating the full course of vaccination with AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson and Johnson, Nuvaxovid (Novavax), Coronavac (Sinovac), Covishield, BBIBP-CorV (Sinopharm), Covaxin and Sputnik V. Required doses must have been received at least 14 days before travel.
Travelers under the age of 16 are exempted as long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian who is vaccinated. Vaccinated minors below the age of 16 may travel unaccompanied, observing all international travel protocols.
Travelers unable to provide valid proof of vaccination may be required to follow the rules for unvaccinated travelers.
On Arrival
Mandatory COVID-19 test on arrival
Travelers are required to take a pre-booked COVID-19 rapid antigen test (RAT) a maximum of 72 hours after arrival (the day of arrival is considered day 0).
No quarantine required
Travelers are not required to quarantine on arrival in Fiji.
