Before You Leave
No proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test required for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers arriving from selected countries are not required to have a negative COVID-19 test result before traveling to Estonia.
Recommended health declaration form
Travelers arriving in Estonia are required to complete a health declaration form a maximum of 3 days before their arrival in Estonia or on the day of arrival. Travelers should keep the confirmation e-mail after completing it electronically or print it out before traveling.
Mandatory proof of vaccination for Estonia
Travelers who are fully vaccinated are required to present an immunization passport, a copy of the immunization passport, or a relevant certificate, in Latin or Slavic alphabet, in Estonian, Russian, or English. A certificate will show proof of COVID-19 vaccination and its details and that no more than 9 months have passed since its completion. The validity of vaccination certificates for minors is 15 months.
Travelers must follow the manufacturer's instructions in regards to the waiting period between their final dose and full immunization.
- 7 calendar days after getting the second dose of Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine,
- 14 days after getting the second dose of Moderna or AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine,
- 14 calendar days after getting a single dose of the Janssen COVID-19 vaccine.
For other COVID-19 vaccines not mentioned in this section, the instructions from the manufacturer regarding achieving maximum immunity (e.g., 21 days after the second dose of Sputnik V) must be followed.
Travelers who are eligible for the EU Digital COVID-19 Certificate or equivalent may use it to present proof.
