Exiting Morocco: Moroccan residents require proof of vaccination to exit the country
Moroccan residents traveling out of Morocco are required to present valid proof of full vaccination before exiting the country. If the second dose of the vaccine (or single dose for the J&J vaccine) is more than 4 months old, a booster dose is compulsory.
Residents who tested positive for COVID-19 can only be given a booster dose 4 weeks from the date of infection, and therefore can leave Morocco with their old vaccine certificate presented with a certificate of recovery or a negative PCR test, and the PCR or Rapid Antigen test result confirming the infection.
Moroccan residents aged 12-18 years must have a vaccination certificate proving they received 2 doses of a vaccine before exiting Morocco.
This requirement does not apply to:
- Travelers under the age of 12;
- Travelers with medical exemptions.
