Travelers are allowed to enter Eritrea by air. All land borders are currently closed. Please check the documentation, quarantine, and/or testing requirements before traveling.

Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results
All travelers are required to have a negative COVID-19 PCR test result. The test must be issued at most 72 hours before arrival in Eritrea.

Mandatory pre-registration form before exiting Colombia
All travelers are required to fill out a pre-registration form before they depart from Colombia. It must be filled at least 1 hour, and a maximum of 72 hours before departure. Travelers will be required to show confirmation of registration before boarding.
This requirement does not apply to:
- Travelers under the age of 18.
On Arrival
Mandatory COVID-19 test on arrival
Travelers are required to take a COVID-19 rapid antigen test on arrival in Eritrea.
Mandatory quarantine for unvaccinated travelers
Unvaccinated travelers are required to quarantine for 5 days on arrival. Travelers are required to take a second test and end quarantine with a negative COVID-19 test result.

Travelers must wear masks in public places and while on public transportation including flights.
