- Stay in the airport; travelers that do intend to leave the airport must follow the standard entry procedures.

Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results for unvaccinated travelers
Unvaccinated, and travelers who are not fully vaccinated are required to have a printed negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test result in Arabic or English. The test must be taken a maximum of 72 hours before departure of the last direct flight to Egypt.
The printed test result must contain a QR code or be stamped by the laboratory.
This requirement does not apply to:
- Unvaccinated travelers arriving directly in Sharm El-Sheikh are required to have a COVID-19 PCR test result taken a maximum of 72 hours before departure or a COVID-19 antigen test result taken a maximum of 48 hours before departure to Egypt. Travelers who cannot submit a negative pre-departure COVID-19 test can do a COVID-19 antigen test for USD 20 $ on arrival;
- Fully vaccinated travelers;
- Travelers in transit;
- Travelers under the age of 12.

Health insurance may be required
Travelers must have valid health insurance for the period of their intended stay in Egypt to airport authorities.
Mandatory health declaration form
All travelers, regardless of age, are required to complete a digital health declaration before departure.
Travelers are required to provide their contact and passport details, travel itinerary, and upload their proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results or proof of vaccination.
Upon completing the form travelers will be provided a QR code to show to their airline at check-in, and to Egyptian Quarantine Authorities on arrival.
Travelers who experience issues with completing forms online can fill out the form on arrival in Egypt.
On Arrival
No quarantine required
Travelers are not required to quarantine on arrival.
