Fully vaccinated travelers are not required to have a negative COVID-19 test result to enter Ecuador.

Travelers unable to provide valid proof of vaccination may be required to follow the restrictions for unvaccinated travelers.

More Details

This requirement does not apply to:

  • Travelers under the age of 3;
  • Travelers who have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last year, showing that they have a proof of positive PCR test taken no more than 14 days and less than one year ago.
  • Ecuadorians who were refused entry to other countries and need to return to Ecuador, are exempt from having test results or a vaccine certificate, and instead, they will take a rapid antigen test on arrival.

This requirement does not apply to:

  • Travelers under the age of 3;
