Fully vaccinated travelers are allowed to enter the Cayman Islands. Please check the documentation, quarantine, and/or testing requirements before traveling.
Travelers allowed entry are:
- Unvaccinated Caymanians, Residents, and Work Permit Holders, including their family members;
- Unvaccinated travelers under the age of 12.

No proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results required
Travelers are not required to have proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results before traveling to the Cayman Islands.
Mandatory proof of vaccination for Cayman Islands
Fully vaccinated travelers are required to provide proof that they have completed a full course of vaccination against COVID-19 at least 14 days before boarding. Travelers are required to present a “secure verification” record, which is a vaccination record with security features such as a QR code.

Travelers that have received a combination of 2 different vaccines may still be considered fully vaccinated. Please check the link for more information on accepted vaccine combinations.
Travelers must be vaccinated against COVID-19 at least 14 days before arrival to the Cayman Islands with one of the listed vaccines: Janssen (Johnson & Johnson, single dose), Moderna, Oxford/AstraZeneca, European Version, SK Bio Version, Serum Institute of India version ‘Covishield’, Pfizer-BioNTech, Sinopharm, Sinovac, Novovax, Covovax, Covishield (Astrazeneca/India), Covaxin, Mixed doses of approved vaccines taken at least eight weeks apart.
Mandatory travel insurance
Travelers are required to provide proof of health insurance with COVID-19 coverage or attest that they understand the financial risks they are taking and that they have independent means to cover any medical and accommodation and travel costs.
Mandatory travel authorization for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers wishing to enter the Cayman Islands are required to complete the Travel Cayman online travel authorization form no less than 72 hours before departure.
On Arrival
Recommended COVID-19 test on arrival
Travelers are recommended to take daily COVID-19 lateral flow tests (LFT) for their first 7 days after arrival in the Cayman Islands.
Travelers who test positive for COVID-19 by lateral flow test must complete a COVID-19 PCR test to confirm their results. Vaccinated persons are required to quarantine for 7 days. Unvaccinated travelers are required to quarantine for 9 days. There is no requirement for travelers to take a COVID-19 test once quarantine has been completed.
No quarantine required for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers are not required to quarantine on arrival. This also applies to unvaccinated travelers under the age of 12 accompanying fully vaccinated parents or guardians.
