No proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results required for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers with valid proof of vaccination are not required to have proof of a negative COVID-19 test result to travel to Belize.
No proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results before exiting Uganda for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers are not required to have a negative COVID-19 test result before departing from Uganda.
Recommended accommodation booking
Travelers are recommended to have proof of booking at a Gold Standard Certified Hotel or accommodation.
This recommendation does not apply to:
- QRPs;
- Foreign homeowners;
- Citizens and permanent residents of Belize and long-stay non-nationals;
- Diplomats and military personnel;
- Airline crew and travelers in Belize for less than 24 hours.
Mandatory proof of vaccination for Belize
Fully vaccinated travelers must have a digital or hard copy proof of vaccination showing they have received all required doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine before traveling to Belize.
Approved vaccines include 2 doses of Pfizer-BioNTech, AstraZeneca SK Bio, AstraZeneca-SII Covishield, AstraZeneca Vaxzevria, Medigen (Taiwan), Moderna, Sinopharm, Sinovac (Coronavac), or 1 dose of Johnson&Johnson (Janssen).
Travelers without this document must follow restrictions for unvaccinated travelers.
This requirement does not apply to:
- Travelers under the age of 12.

Travelers are required to purchase travel health insurance with COVID-19 coverage from a local insurance provider before traveling to Belize.
