Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results is required for unvaccinated travelers
Unvaccinated travelers must have a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test result. Travelers must take the test a maximum of 72 hours before departure to Bangladesh.
This testing requirement doesn’t apply to the following travelers:
- Travelers under the age of 12.
- A RT PCR Test Up To 72 hours

Travelers don’t need a COVID-19 test when transiting through Bangladesh.
On Arrival
COVID-19 test may be required on arrival
Travelers showing symptoms of COVID-19 on arrival must take a COVID-19 RT-PCR or antigen test.
Quarantine and testing may be required
Travelers don’t need to quarantine on arrival in Bangladesh.
Travelers who display symptoms on arrival must take a COVID-19 RT-PCR or antigen test at a government-authorized hospital or facility. Travelers with a positive RT-PCR test result must quarantine at their own expense at a government-designated facility or hotel. Travelers can end quarantine with a negative RT-PCR or antigen test result taken after day 7.
Health screening may be required on arrival
Symptomatic travelers must undergo temperature screening on arrival.
