Exiting Indonesia: Travel is allowed for vaccinated Indonesian citizens
Fully vaccinated Indonesian citizens must have a valid proof of COVID-19 vaccination before departure from Indonesia.
This exit restriction doesn’t apply to the following travelers:
- Indonesian citizens under the age of 18;
- Indonesian citizens with proof of recovery;
- Indonesian citizens with special health conditions.

Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results is not required for vaccinated travelers
Vaccinated travelers don’t need negative COVID-19 test results before traveling to Bangladesh.
Mandatory proof of COVID-19 vaccination for Bangladesh
Travelers must have a valid COVID-19 vaccination certificate. The certificate must show that it has passed at least 14 days after completing the full course of WHO-approved vaccination before departure to Bangladesh.
Mandatory proof of COVID-19 vaccination for Indonesian citizens before exiting Indonesia
Fully vaccinated Indonesian citizens must provide valid proof of COVID-19 vaccination through the PeduliLindungi application before departure from Indonesia. Travelers must have received the primary course of COVID-19 vaccination plus a booster dose before departure from Indonesia.
This vaccination requirement doesn’t apply to the following travelers:
- Indonesian citizens under the age of 18;
- Indonesian citizens with valid proof of COVID-19 recovery certificate;
- Indonesian citizens with special health conditions.
For Transit
Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results is not required for transit
Travelers don’t need a negative COVID-19 test result when transiting through Bangladesh.
On Arrival
COVID-19 test may be required on arrival
Travelers showing symptoms of COVID-19 on arrival must take a COVID-19 RT-PCR or antigen test.
Quarantine and testing may be required
Travelers don’t need to quarantine on arrival in Bangladesh.
Travelers who display symptoms on arrival must take a COVID-19 RT-PCR or antigen test at a government-authorized hospital or facility. Travelers with a positive RT-PCR test result must quarantine at their own expense at a government-designated facility or hotel. Travelers can end quarantine with a negative RT-PCR or antigen test result taken after day 7.
Health screening may be required on arrival
Symptomatic travelers must undergo temperature screening on arrival.
