Border Status
Travel is allowed with restrictions for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers from selected countries who are residents or citizens of these countries are allowed to enter Azerbaijan. Travelers must be aged 18 years and older and must present valid proof of vaccination or proof of recovery from COVID-19 on arrival.
Limited international flights are operating. Please check the documentation, quarantine, and/or testing requirements before traveling.

Travelers don’t need a negative COVID-19 PCR test result before traveling to Azerbaijan.
Mandatory proof of vaccination for Azerbaijan
Travelers are required to have a vaccination certificate showing they have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or a recovery document showing that travelers have immunity to COVID-19 (COVID passport).
This requirement does not apply to:
- Travelers under the age of 18.
On Arrival
No quarantine is required
Travelers don’t have to quarantine on arrival in Azerbaijan.
While There
Masks not mandatory in public
Travelers are not required to wear masks in indoor public places and on public transportation.
Health pass may be required for public activity
Travelers may be required to show their COVID passport (proof of vaccination or proof of recovery) to enter certain venues.
