Before You Leave
No proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results required for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers are not required to have a negative COVID-19 test before traveling to Antigua and Barbuda.
Some airlines may have more strict requirements for fully vaccinated travelers. Please contact your airline to confirm if they require a pre-departure test.
Travelers who present symptoms of COVID-19 on arrival may still be required to take a COVID-19 RT-PCR test on arrival at their own expense.
Mandatory proof of vaccination for Antigua and Barbuda
Fully vaccinated travelers must have proof of vaccination to be exempt from the requirement to provide proof of a negative pre-departure COVID-19 test result and to be exempt from quarantine on arrival.
Proof of vaccination must show that at least 2 weeks have passed since the administration of the full vaccine dosage. Only vaccines approved by the World Health Organization or the Ministry of Health Wellness and the Environment will be accepted.
The approved vaccines are AstraZeneca, Covishield, Janssen, Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech, Sinopharm, Sputnik V, and Sinovac. Please see the link for more information on approved vaccinations.
Travelers who have had mixed doses of vaccines of AstraZeneca vaccine with either Moderna or Pfizer vaccines will be able to enter the country.
This requirement does not apply to:
- Travelers under the age of 18.
On Arrival
COVID-19 test may be required on arrival for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated passengers may be required to take a COVID-19 RT-PCR test on arrival at their own expense.
Mandatory stay at a certified accommodation for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers with valid proof of vaccination are not required to quarantine on arrival. They must however stay at a certified bio-safe, certified accommodation, or yacht.
Nationals and residents can stay at their place of residence.
Health screening on arrival
Temperature screening is required for all travelers on arrival.
