Travelers arriving from selected countries are required to have proof of a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test result. The test must be taken 72 hours before arrival in Slovakia.

Travelers with access to the EU Digital Certificate may use it to present proof.

Mandatory proof of vaccination

Description

Vaccinated travelers must present a vaccination certificate with one of the following options:

  • It has passed at least 14 days after the administration of the second dose of a 2-dose COVID-19 vaccine;
  • It has passed at least 21 days after the administration of the first dose of a single-dose COVID-19 vaccine;
  • It has passed at least 14 days after the administration of the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine if the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination was given a maximum of 180 days of overcoming COVID-19.

Fully vaccinated travelers must be able to show a certificate proving their vaccination status in Slovak, Czech or English. The vaccination certificate must include a stamp of the national authority or be electronically verifiable.

Travelers with access to the EU Digital Certificate may use it to present proof.
