Travelers must provide a certificate showing that at least 14 days have passed since they received their final dose of an EMA-approved vaccine (AstraZeneca, BioNTech/Pfizer, Johnson&Johnson and Moderna) issued by a country in the European Union, Schengen Area, or a third country whose vaccination certificate is considered equivalent. Please see the source for countries with approved vaccination certificates.

Travelers with proof of recovery of fewer than 6 months are considered fully vaccinated 14 days after the first dose of vaccine.

Travelers with access to the EU Digital Certificate may use it to present proof.

More Details

This requirement does not apply to:

  • Travelers under the age of 12 years and 2 months old.

Travelers from third countries from which proof of vaccination is accepted will need to present official documents proving their residence in one of those countries.
