Description

Travelers who are fully vaccinated from selected countries may be required to have a negative COVID-19 PCR test result. The test must be issued a maximum of 72 hours before arrival in Hungary.

Travelers with access to the EU Digital Certificate may use it to present proof.

Travelers from a country outside of the EU and that have made an agreement with the Hungarian government to accept foreign vaccination certificates may provide a vaccination certificate issued in those countries. Currently, vaccination certificates are also accepted from these countries Albania, Bahrain, Cyprus, Czech Republic, North Macedonia, Georgia, Croatia, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Morocco, Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, Russia, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Cape Verde,

Travelers unable to present a valid certificate recognized by the Hungary Government will be required to comply with rules for unvaccinated travelers.

Mandatory proof of vaccination

Description

Vaccinated travelers must have proof that they have been vaccinated against COVID-19 on at least 1 occasion and that 1 year has not passed since the first vaccination with a vaccine approved by the European Medicines Agency, World Health Organization for emergency use, or with a vaccine allowed in Hungary.

Travelers with access to the EU Digital Certificate may use it to present proof.

Travelers from a country outside of the EU and that have made an agreement with the Hungarian government to accept foreign vaccination certificates may provide a vaccination certificate issued in those countries.
