Travel is allowed with restrictions
Travelers who are citizens and residents of selected countries are allowed to enter Luxembourg. Please check the documentation, quarantine, and/or testing requirements before traveling.
Transit is allowed
Travelers are allowed to transit through Luxembourg.
Before You Leave
No proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results required for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers with a valid vaccination certificate are not required to have proof of negative COVID-19 test results before traveling to Luxembourg.
Mandatory proof of vaccination
Travelers must provide a certificate showing that at least 14 days have passed since they received their final dose of an EMA-approved vaccine (AstraZeneca, BioNTech/Pfizer, Johnson&Johnson and Moderna) issued by a country in the European Union, Schengen Area, or a third country whose vaccination certificate is considered equivalent. Additional vaccines accepted are Covishield (Serum Institute of India Pvt. Ltd (SII)), R-Covi (R-Pharm), and Covid-19 vaccine (recombinant) (FIOCRUZ). Travelers with proof of recovery of fewer than 6 months are considered fully vaccinated 14 days after the first dose of vaccine.
Travelers with access to the EU Digital Certificate may use it to present proof.
This requirement does not apply to:
- Travelers under the age of 12 years and 2 months old.
Travelers from third countries from which proof of vaccination is accepted will need to present official documents proving their residence in one of those countries.
No quarantine required
Travelers are not required to quarantine upon arrival in Luxembourg.

Travelers must wear masks on all public transportation, in indoor public places, and in situations where physical distancing is not possible.
