Mandatory proof of vaccination

Description

Travelers who are fully vaccinated must present a vaccination certificate showing that they completed the full vaccination before departure to Tahiti.

The vaccination schedule is considered complete 28 days after administration of a 1 dose for the Janssen vaccine and 7 days after administration of a second dose for other vaccines like Pfizer (Comirnaty), Moderna, AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria, or Covishield), or 7 days after receiving 1 dose for travelers who have had a history of COVID-19 (only 1 dose is necessary).

The measures applied to vaccinated adults extend under the same conditions to minors accompanying them, whether or not they are vaccinated.

Description

All travelers including citizens and residents arriving by air are required to register on the Polynesian Electronic Travel Information System (ETIS) no later than 6 days and at most 30 days before departure and confirmation must be presented at check-in. Minors traveling with their parents can be included in their ETIS form.

During the application process, travelers might be requested to complete an additional step to request approval from the High Commissioner.
