Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results may be required for vaccinated travelers

Description

Fully vaccinated travelers do not need a negative COVID-19 test result if they have a vaccination certificate with a QR code or a stamp from an authorized accredited laboratory. Please contact your nearest Egyptian embassy or consulate to see if your vaccination certificate qualifies.

Travelers unable to provide valid proof of vaccination must have a printed negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test result in Arabic or English. The test must be taken a maximum of 72 hours before departure. The result must be stamped by an accredited laboratory, or contain a QR code, and must indicate the type of sample taken.

Fully vaccinated travelers must have a vaccination certificate proving they have received all required doses of an approved vaccine. The accepted vaccines are: Astra Zeneca, Janssen, Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech, Sinopharm, Sinovac, or Sputnik V. The certificate should show the last dose was administered at least 14 days ago and must have either a QR code or an authorized accredited laboratory’s stamp. In case of any scraping, cancellation, or addition, the certificate will not be accepted.
