Description

All travelers must have a printed or electronic negative COVID-19 PCR nucleic acid test result. The test must be taken a maximum of 96 hours before departure from the first point of departure to the Maldives.

More Details

This requirement does not apply to:

  • Travelers under the age of 1;
  • Travelers who tested positive a maximum of 60 days before arrival in the Maldives must have proof of recovery instead of a COVID-19 PCR test.

Vaccinated travelers must have a vaccination certificate showing they completed the recommended doses of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by the WHO Emergency Use Listing or by the Maldives Food and Drug Authority and at least 14 days have passed after the recommended doses.

Travelers unable to present a valid certificate may be required to comply with rules for unvaccinated travelers.
